Treetops
STANDARD Double/Twin

Charming cream and coral Toile de Jouy decoration, with a breakfast table and two chairs. A large marble bathroom (14′9″ x 6′0″) with a bath and a double window over the handbasin. Treetops also has a separate walk-in shower.
Cedar
STANDARD Double
This is a charming room over the porch looking onto the cedar trees planted by Walter Marshall in 1881.
The bedroom is newly refurbished. The room has a small dressing table/writing table and a freestanding wardrobe. A very pretty bathroom fitted out with marble tiles and vanity top (9′0″ x 5′9″), large bath and stand up shower, with a little window overlooking cedar trees.
Chota
STANDARD Double/Twin
Medium-sized room, sunnily decorated in Nina Campbell yellow chintz with a dado rail running around the bedroom.
It has a high-based bed with half tester canopy, comfortable chair and a writing desk. Good-sized bathroom (8′0″ x 8′0″) with a bath and hand-held shower together with a separate walk-in shower. Chota may be accessed via the small lift but has two shallow steps onto the landing. Although a charming room, views of the garden are restricted. Together with Qazvin, it makes an ideal family room.
Swallow
STANDARD Double/TWIN
Decorated in Colefax and Fowler Fuchsia wallpaper and chintz.
This room has two armchairs, a breakfast table and bathroom (10’0” x 6’6”). Lovely southerly view over the garden and Rutland Water. This room, like House Martin, is air-conditioned.
“It is such a splendid residence that if you were airlifted between Claridges and The Ritz you wouldn’t look out of place”
