43 Years of MICHELIN

We are thrilled to announce that we have retained our MICHELIN Star

On the 10th February, the 2025 MICHELIN Great Britain and Ireland 2025 ceremony took place and we are delighted to announce that we have maintained our MICHELIN Star and hold the longest retained Michelin Star in England – since 1982.

With our commitment to using the finest local produce, often with a seasonal bias, each of our dishes showcase the rich flavours of the region. Our restaurant has maintained its one Michelin star under the leadership of the same head chef since 1992, Aaron Patterson, and we ensure a consistent standard of excellence that continues to delight our guests. Whether staying with us or visiting for our dining options, we can offer a truly unforgettable dining experience as we remain a shining beacon of British dining.

Head Chef, Aaron, says:

We are very proud of the whole team at Hambleton for yet another fantastic achievement

Our dining options are designed to delight your senses from morning to night. Our commitment to seasonal ingredients means many of our items are sourced directly from our own edible gardens.

We are proud to offer a dedicated vegetarian menu, which features standout dishes such as our Head Chef’s famous cauliflower cheese, an absolute must-try for any guest.

The elegant and serene surroundings of our Dining Room provide the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you’re indulging in a quiet dinner or gathering with friends and family, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and traditional. For special occasions, our Private Dining options offer a more intimate experience, ideal for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or any celebration. We provide bespoke menus tailored to your preferences, ensuring your event is nothing short of exceptional.

Whether you’re here for a casual lunch, a decadent dinner, or an unforgettable private celebration, Hambleton Hall’s dining experience promises to be a highlight of your stay.
